Are you looking for seasonal work doing tax preparation in 2022! Accounting Principals is working with a few of our clients looking to fill Tax Preparers jobs for the corporate offices located in the Greater San Francisco Bay Area, CA.  We are looking for people with experience with both individual and smaller corporate tax returns. You should have at least 3 years of experience as a Tax professional. The role will start the informing the customer or client of the tax process, collect all the relevant financial records, enter all the financial information into the database, collect relevant financial records, assemble the tax return,  review the completed tax return, get appropriate signatures, close out the return, and assist on any tax need as assigned.


Qualifications include:

- 3 seasons of tax preparation experience. Additional accounting or finance experience would be preferred

- Strong knowledge of tax laws and tax concepts

- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance would be preferred

- Software experience with Quickbooks would be a plus

- PTIN required

- Able to work independently and remotely during the shelter in place

- Comfortable returning to the office when the shelter in place is lifted

- Reliable, thorough, and dedicated 

- Attention to detail, analytical, and organized

- Solid customer service ability in-person and over the phone

- Good communications (written & verbal)

- Associates or Bachelor’s Degree would be a plus

- Comfortable with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word & Outlook)


Compensation: $22.00 - $30.00

Employment Type: Temporary (3 – 4 months)
