Accounting Principals is partnering with a premier company in search of a staff accountant in Grand Rapids, MI. To qualify, you must be highly proficient in Microsoft Excel, Have a Bachelors's degree in accounting or finance, and two years of experience in a similar role. Possess at least two years of Mortgage Closing experience. Also, candidates must possess exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
Preparing monthly balance sheets
Maintain general ledger
Reconciliation of cash disbursements, payroll, and customer accounts
Assist in the annual audit
Manage invoicing and purchasing system
Other responsibilities as assigned
Bachelors degree with an Accounting & Finance emphasis required
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills required
A minimum of one year of previous staff accountant responsibilities required
Familiarity with Sage Intact, APS, and Concur is preferred
