Accounting Principals has partnered with a company located in Bergen County, New Jersey in their search to hire a Staff Accountant. This is a full-time position being hired on a temp to permanent basis. Please note that this position is on-site.
Responsibilities:
Assist with the processing of AP and AR
Keep aging current and assist with collections
Maintain accurate and up to date files on customers/vendors
Interract with customers/vendors - assist with questions/concerns in a professional manner
Create invoices and purchase orders
Reconciliations
Assist with projects as needed
Qualifications:
4 year degree in Accounting or related field strongly preferred
Proficiency in MS Excel
Strong communication skills
Ability to work within an environment that is fast paced and multi-task
Acquire new software skills
Self-starter
