Hi there!

We are actively looking to add a capable Staff Accountant to our team in Sacramento, CA! We are a well-established print and digital marketing firm and are looking for a candidate well versed in both AP and AR, month end close, and financial statement generation.

This is a direct hire role (no contract period) and the compensation for the role is 65-75k/year DOE.

  • Assist with the month-end close process.
  • Perform analytical reviews and account analyses.
  • Perform Accounts Payable invoice entry and vendor payments
  • Ensure all monthly vendor invoices are input on a timely basis  
  • Reconcile credit card statements on a monthly basis  
  • Reconcile bank accounts on a monthly basis  
  • Update balance sheet account analyses on a monthly basis  
  • backup support to Accounts Receivable billing and cash receipts functions  
  • Document business processes and prepare procedures for all assigned accounting functions
  • Other duties as assigned


  • Degree with emphasis in Accounting or Business Administration preferred
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a staff or junior accountant
  • Fully functional with all aspects of Financial Accounting Software, Reporting Software, and Microsoft Office software applications required for financial analysis
  • Excellent knowledge of financial accounting principles and concepts in order to perform tasks listed under
  • Working knowledge of financial analysis; including account analysis and key trend analysis
  • MS Excel (e.g., formulaic calculations and functions, pivot table creation, importing and exporting data, etc)
  • Ability to read and interpret documents, manuals, operating and maintenance instructions, financial manuals
  • Excellent interpersonal and communications skills
  • Ability to write routine correspondence
  • Ability to speak effectively before group and individuals of an external audience and/or employees of the organization
  • Team working ability to enable effective interaction with and motivation of other team members, including peers.
