Accounting Principals has partnered with a reliable company in San Jose to find a qualified Staff Accountant! This is a direct hire opportunity for someone with experience in AP and General Ledger and ability to handle a variety of accounting duties. The ideal candidate will have a strong desire to apply themselves with the team and work long-term.
Assist with journal entries and reconciliations in the general ledger, including month-end close and preparation of financial statements
Manage the Accounts Payable process including vendor communications and accurate invoice billing
Assist with Payroll as needed
Ability to handle expense reports and communicate with management as needed
Support year-end audit as it approaches
3-5 years’ experience in General Ledger Accounting
Experience handling AP and ability to manage the full AP process
Knowledge of Sales & Use Tax is a plus
Excellent communication and attention to detail!
