We are working with a top client in search for a sharp, dynamic accounting individual who is aspiring for a challenging growth opportunity. This individual will assist with accounting processes such as accounts receivable, intercompany transactions, and month end close. Responsibilities and Duties:


  • Process accounts receivable daily
  • Generate monthly service fees and bill to the appropriate entity
  • Reconcile bank accounts daily
  • Assist in monthly closings
  • Prepare journal entries per the financial close schedule
  • Produce timely and accurate financial statements, assisting with the financial analysis for the company’s operational leaders
  • Reconcile detailed balance sheet schedules to each company’s books and records monthly
  • Perform other duties and assume other responsibilities as assigned
  • Conform with and abide by all regulations, policies, work procedures and instructions

 
Qualifications and Skills:

  • Four-year degree in related field and 3+ years of relevant experience required
  • Strong understanding of financial accounting
  • A working knowledge of accounting systems required along with proficient Excel skills
  • Solid oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management
  • Ability to multi-task and effectively prioritize in a highly dynamic environment
  • Meet tight deadlines and complete high-volume accounting activities including general ledger preparation
