Staff Accountant Position – San Francisco, CA

As a Staff Accountant, you will support month and year end operations, manage accounts receivable functions, and process cash receipts and record revenue/receivable. Our ideal Staff Accountant will have at least five years of related Accounting experience, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent communication skills. Additionally, this position will be easily accessible by public transportation and offer competitive market pay.
As a Staff Accountant, you will:

  • Support month and year end operations
  • Manage accounts receivable functions
  • Process cash receipts and record revenue/receivable
  • Assist with account analysis and reconciliations, annual budgets, and quarterly forecasts
  • File monthly bank reports
  • Analyze monthly budget/forecast to actual variance reports
  • Maintain credit/collections policies and procedures
Our ideal Staff Accountant will have:
  • Associates degree in Accounting or a related field at minimum
  • At least five years of related Accounting experience
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (particularly Excel)
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
