Responsibilities of this Sr Payroll Specialist contract include:

  • Process biweekly payroll for over 450 multistate employees
  • Handle everything re: new hires, vacation, paid sick leave, as well as adjustments and final checks as needed
  • Create, edit, and run various reports from ADP Reporting
  • Process and posts direct deposits
  • Post W-4s and batches for any service charges
  • Review and audit the reports
  • Cut manual checks when necessary

    Minimum requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 year's previous payroll experience
  • ADP WFN and Microsoft Excel
  • Knowledge of city, state, and federal regulations regarding employee compensation
  • Professional, self-starter, and able to manage multiple deadlines
  • Critical thinker, consultation, with good communication skills
  • Able to commit to a 6 month contract that sits in Carlsbad
