Are you seeking a payroll position in the Manhattan area? Do you have 2+ years of payroll experience that you’re looking to expand even further within a dynamic and diverse organization?  You’ve come to the right place because Accounting Principals is supporting our client in the Tech industry to fill an open position on their team as a Senior Payroll Specialist. This opportunity is on a five-month contract basis with the possibility for extension. Please see additional details below to see if you’re a great match for the role!
 

Responsibilities: 

  • Process weekly in-house payroll for 400+ employees
  • Track and maintain vacation and sick time
  • Conduct pre and post payroll reconciliation and audits
  • Ensure documentation complies with company policies, labor laws, and GAAP
  • Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field is desired but not required
  • 2+ years of payroll experience preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Skills:

  • Experience with Workday or ADP Workforce Now is a plus!
  • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work independently
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
