Senior Financial Analyst

Accounting Principals is partnering with a manufacturing firm in Seattle, WA who is searching for a temporary analyst to help with some special projects. This role will entail some researching discrepancies, evaluating processes, and analyzing large data sets. You will be working closely with the accounting and finance departments, so you need to be able to communicate professionally and collaborate with others in a remote setting. The team is looking for someone who can come into the office on an as needed basis, so it’s preferred that you live around Seattle, WA. This position would last for at least six months. You need to have a bachelor’s degree and at least five years of accounting or finance experience to be considered. The interview process will be quick since the team needs someone for this role right away.

Main Tasks:

  • Reviewing and researching the invoicing process and vendor accounts
  • Analyzing data sets to understand and resolve discrepancies
  • Documenting procedures and suggesting efficiencies
  • Ensuring accurate set-up of vendor accounts and contracts
  • Assisting with transactional work if needed
  • Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
  • At least five years of accounting work experience
  • Professional communication skills and ability to collaborate with different teams
  • High attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Previous experience in ERP software systems such as SAP or Oracle
