Senior Accounts Receivable Specialist

 

Accounting Principals is hiring a senior-level Accounts Receivable Specialist for a well-established company’s regional office in Tacoma, WA! This Senior AR Specialist will be responsible for processing payments, invoicing clients and heavy reconciliation work. This company is looking for the right candidate who will possess strong Accounting experience, proven data entry skills and have an eye for suggesting improvements! This job will start working from home, but eventually go back to the office in Tacoma.

 

Job Responsibilities

  • Posting incoming payments and creating invoices to send out. 
  • Running aging accounts report and determining payment schedules.
  • Handling vendor maintenance duties and obtaining W-9 forms.
  • Processing reconciliations and assist with reporting duties.
  • Analyzing accounts and retrieving documentation from multiple systems.
  • Assist with the training of new hires in Accounts Receivable
  • Provide feedback on processes and ideas for improvement
  • Further Accounting duties and cross train as needed.
  •  

    Desired Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred, but not required.
  • At least 3-5 years of Accounts Receivable experience or similarly as a Staff Accountant with strong AR skillsets
  • Proficient in 10-key and alphanumeric data entry.
  • Experience working in multiple Accounting systems and Excel preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and team-player attitude.

    Hours

    Full time, 8am-5pm Monday-Friday, 40 hours per week
