Duties:

  • Verify, allocate, post and reconcile accounts payable and receivable
  • Produce error-free accounting reports
  • Analyze financial information and summarize financial status
  • Provide technical support and advice
  • Review and recommend modifications to accounting systems and procedures
  • Participate in financial standards setting and in forecast process
  • Provide input into department’s goal setting process
  • Prepare financial statements and produce budget according to schedule Assist with tax audits and tax returns
  • Direct internal and external audits to ensure compliance
  • Support month-end and year-end close process
  • Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls
  •  

    Qualifications:

    Master’s degree in Accounting required

    3+ years as an Accountant

    Excellent computer skills

    Highest standards of accuracy

    Articulate with excellent verbal and written communication skills

    Ability to think creatively and self-motivated

     

    Requirements:

  • ERP experience
  • Able to sit for cpa exam
  • Able to handle startup environment - less structured
  • Understanding of financial controls
  • Strong work ethic - ability to work overtime through end of the year and critical periods such as month end close
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Positive team-player
  • Mfg / AI / Tech industry experience
  • Subscription (SaaS) accounting and ASC 606 familiarity
  • Ability to conduct technical research
  • Public accounting experience
  • CPA
  •
