Are you ready for a new opportunity? We’ve partnered with an insurance client in Salem to help find a new Senior Accountant who will focus on the general ledger. Our client is looking for someone who is hands on and isn’t afraid to jump in and get to work. The perfect candidate for this role will have at least 4 years of high level accounting and GL experience, as well as strong Excel skills.
This is a contract to hire opportunity, paying up to $38 an hour.
In this job you will:
Complete reconciliations and assist with month end close processes
Prepare and post general ledger entries
Complete quarterly and annual regulatory filings
Assist with compiling and explain financial information for monthly reports and the annual audit
To be a fit, you must have:
4+ years of general ledger accounting experience
A strong understanding of GAAP
Strong Excel skills
Experience with Intaact is a plus
Employment Type: Full Time, Contract to Hire
Compensation: $28.00 – $38.00 DOE
