Accounting Principals is looking to fill a Senior Accountant job opportunity for this exciting company located in San Francisco, CA. This position is hybrid and will work in-office 1 or 2 days a week. The right candidate should have 5 years of experience as Senior Accountant.  The position reports to the Regional Controller and will be heavily involved in the accounting activities involving the  the North American corporate entities. The position responsibilities is to manage the activities related to the regions financial and month-end accounting, compliance, cash flow and banking.


Responsibilities include:

- Post monthly depreciation, prepayment, payroll and IFRS lease journals

- Maintain monthly balance sheet reconciliations

- Post receipts and prepare regular bank reconciliations

- Post and release accrued expenditures and manage reconciliations of accrual balance

- Prepare weekly cash flow forecasts

- Prepare weekly accounts payable check runs

- Assist accountants on the monthly AMEX statements (reconcile, journalize & submit for approval)

- Ensure corporate registrations and filings are up to date

- Assist with the annual audit

- Assist on duties and projects as assigned



- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance required

- Strong accounting foundation knowing your debits and credits (GAAP)

- Software experience with a medium to large ERP package

- Intermediate to advanced Excel skills

- Team player, able to work autonomously, be proactive, and be self-motivated

- Attention to detail, analytical, a problem-solver, and meets deadlines

- Strong communications (written & verbal)  

- Comfortable with Microsoft Office (Excel – Intermediate/Advanced, Word & Outlook)


Experience: 5 years of senior level accounting experience

Compensation: $90,000 – $100,000
