Senior Accountant (Contract)

If you have 5+ years of recent accounting experience, a degree, and strong excel skills, this will be great for you.


This position is 1-3 months in duration and will pay between $24 and $30 per hour.


Job Duties:

  • Develop the new product cost model that includes current actual formula costs, historical data driven expected yields, relevant assigned MOD, labor, and target EBT objectives.
  • Provide leadership with post product actual costs versus expected cost model analyses.
  • Collaborate with management to create and refine activity-based cost pools based upon measured process costs and volume.
  • Provide management with product and customer account profitability.
  • Participate and support the weekly Yield Continuous Improvement Team agenda and action items. 
  • Support the sales leadership with customer specific data for sales calls and account business update meetings.
  • Develop unique and specific power point presentations for prospective new account meetings as well as current account meetings that embed sales data, pictures, videos and accounting tables.
  • Attend weekly R&D meetings to document the new product/processes underway that result in actions cited above.
  • Support on-going efforts of both R&D and Sales leadership for accounting, technical support, and presentations.
  • Develop and present cost formula presentations to key customers at customer annual reviews with sales.  Formulas cold include raw material input costs as well as models based off market-based indices.
  • Collaborate with IT, Supply, Engineering to assist in the development and implementation of new system initiatives.


  • 5+ years of accounting experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
  • Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills
  • Strong math and analytical skills
