Retirement Plan Service Associate

Accounting Principals is looking to fill a Retirement Plan Service Associate for our clients in St. Petersburg, FL. Our ideal candidate has at least 2 years of recent experience within the financial service industry or recent graduate with a bachelor’s degree in finance or related field, strong Data entry skills and professional written and verbal communication skills.


  • Processing forms and performing basic transactions, such as handling roll overs, internal transfers, and death certificates
  • Answer and responds email inquiries regarding issues
  • Interprets rules and regulations by applying retirement plan knowledge
  • Conducts audits of account activity to ensure transactions meet regulatory compliance
  • Maintains knowledge of retirement plan rules and regulations
  • Communicates, researches, and resolves issues with other internal departments
  • Review daily reports of individual productivity to evaluate personal performance
  • Qualifications:

  • Minimum of a High School Diploma/GED completed, Bachelor’s Degree is highly preferred
  • At least 2 years of recent experience within the financial services, ideally the retirement planning industry or recent graduate with a bachelor’s degree in finance or related field and some professional work experience
  • Strong data entry skills with a high attention to detail
  • Clear and professional written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Skills:

  • Ability to multitask
  • Data entry skills
  • Computer skills / MS Office Suite
  • Quick Learner
  • Ability to use proper grammar and spelling at all times
  • Work Schedule: 8:30am – 5:30pm OR 9am – 6pm

    **This person will be required to work onsite; however, the managers  are flexible with the employees working remotely 1-2 days per week**
