Accounting Principals is seeking a skilled growth-minded professional to become a Senior Trainer with one of our top clients. Our client, a large financial firm, has created a new position to assist with the onboarding and continued development of their staff. This position is fully remote—candidates can sit anywhere in the U.S. and the position will not ever be required to routinely report to an office location—but will require candidates to travel during peak onboarding times throughout the year. This is a one-year contract position, but our client is primarily looking for people to stay with the company long-term.

Job Details:

  • This is a twelve-month temp position that our client would like to make permanent upon successful completion of job duties.
  • The job is 100% remote, but will be expected to travel to various training sites about 25% of the time. This travel requirement can be waived for an exceptional candidate.
  • The nature of the role requires work hours to be 8:00-5:00 based on your local time.


  • Pay is calculated hourly with a negotiable starting rate. The minimum rate is $35/hr.

    Job Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for coordinating all aspects of live training for new colleagues. The Senior Trainer will act as a subject matter expert on topics related to training.
  • Learning to use various business-related systems and developing methods to teach new colleagues to use those systems.
  • Reviewing and updating training materials to ensure that all content (systems, language, processes, etc.) is up to date with company standards.
  • Develop training plans designed to be used in a variety of contexts—seminars, webinars, asynchronous online lessons, classrooms, etc.
  • Oversee the collection of training feedback to ensure consistent improvement on the job.
  • Communicate content of training material to new colleagues.

    Hard Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
  • 3+ years of professional experience in commercial real estate.
  • Thorough understanding of regulations surrounding commercial transactions.
  • Flexibility to mitigate sudden problems or changes that interfere with the delivery of training.

    Ideal Qualifications:

  • 5+ years in commercial real estate transactions.
  • 7+ years in collaboration-focused positions.
  • Highly proficient in FAST.
  • Demonstrated work history of quickly learning new programs/systems.
  • Written and oral communication that is clear and articulate; candidate demonstrates tactful awareness of when their communications are running long or are too verbose. 
  • Open to criticism and ideas; an ideal candidate is able to garner feedback frequently and respond well to criticism.

Our client will provide training related to instructional aspects of this role, but can only consider applicants with a background in commercial real estate.
