Accounting Principal has an opening for a QuickBooks Accountant to handle all bookkeeping functions for a mid-sized manufacturing organization.  The successful candidate will thrive in a fast-paced and vendor focused environment.  Independent workers and self-starters are ideal for this role, as you will be the sole accountant for the branch working under the Corporate Controller. Pay will be dependent upon experience

 

Responsibilities

  • Daily cash reconciliations and monthly bank reconciliations
  • Daily Journal entries of transactions
  • Posting and reconciling the general ledger
  • Fixed assets and inventory reconciliations
  • Trial balance and monthly reporting to include balance sheets and profit/loss statements
  • Maintaining, logging, and organizing accounts payables transactions
  • Posting ACH transactions, processing invoices and receipts
  • Remittances and spreadsheet reporting
  • Reconciling payments received from vendors and collecting and posting payments
  • Sending out monthly aging reports and managing status of accounts and balances
  • Adjusting billing statements and following up with vendors on missed payments
  • Processing chargebacks and adjustments
  •  

    Skills/Qualifications

  • Associates Degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, or Business
  • 3-5 years of Staff Accountant experience handling full cycle functions
  • QuickBooks – Enterprise (Desktop)
  • Advanced Excel skills
  •  

    Employment Type: Full-Time, Direct Hire

    Employment Hours: Monday-Friday, 7:30am-4:30pm
