Accounting Principals is hiring for a Purchasing and Procurement Specialist in Winter Garden, FL. This is a direct hire opportunity with a growing manufacturing company.


  • Research and identify prospective suppliers, evaluate raw material offerings against key business criteria and the required product specifications and negotiate purchase agreements
  • Purchase raw materials
  • Work with internal project teams and maintain strong supplier relations
  • Analyze industry trends and support senior management with development and implementation of sourcing strategies
  • Develop forecasts and budgets relating to purchasing 
  • Prepare reports and maintain accurate inventory and procurement records
  • Experience

  • Minimum three to five years of raw materials experience required (international purchasing)
  • Skills/Knowledge

  • Excellent negotiation skills
  • Prior experience using SAP, Oracle or similar ERP software
  • Good working knowledge of purchasing strategies
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Effective communicator/problem solver
  • Great multi-tasker 
  • Very detail-oriented
  • Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Logistics or related field
  • Work Hours/Pay Rate:

  • Monday-Friday -  Full Time  - 40 hours per week
  • $50,000-60,000/year DOE
