Hi there!

We are actively seeking a full-time Administrative Assistant/Purchasing Agent to join our growing team in our Sacramento, CA office! Our industry is currently booming and this is a terrific opportunity with a highly successful construction company.

Our ideal candidate will be able to thrive in a fast-paced environment. The role requires someone to be an independent thinker who is willing to take on new challenges on an ongoing basis. You will be an essential part in growing our business by ensuring that our office and field operations run smoothly. The ideal candidate will be a team player, organized and professional with great communication skills. You must be comfortable dealing with a variety of people and able to carry out purchasing duties with accuracy and speed.

We are open to reviewing many different types of profiles but the experience we're valuing most is the handling of purchase orders from clients.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Prepare and send out Purchase Orders after verifying plan/elevation of lot
  • Confirm receipt of materials as requested in the Purchase Order
  • Maintain an organized and tidy desk/office
  • Consistently maintain a positive and proactive attitude
  • Ability to understand and perform tasks and complete projects with minimal supervision
  •  

    QUALIFICATIONS

  • Must have at least 1 year of true administrative experience (construction industry experience very nice to have)
  • Possess excellent written and verbal communication
  • Highly organized and detail oriented
  • Experience with MS Word and Outlook
  • Strong Excel skills required
  • QuickBooks experience preferred
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Bilingual in Spanish a big plus
