Property Accountant

A company in the real estate management industry is partnering with Accounting Principals to search for a temporary accounting professional. This team needs someone who has at least five years of accounting experience to handle some general accountant tasks and audit preparation. You will be pulling accounting documents, reconciling accounts, and reviewing the AP and AR work. For ease of getting this project done, you will need to go in the office full-time and there is no remote option. The company is located in the Bellevue, WA area and there is free parking. You will have your own office space. This will be a contract role for at least two months. Experience on ERP software systems is preferred since you will need to learn the system quickly and jump into the workload immediately.

Main Tasks:

  • Reviewing the accounts receivable and accounts payable documents
  • Reconciliations of various accounts
  • Pulling appropriate accounting files when needed
  • Assisting with month end close and posting journal entries
  • Qualifications:

  • At least five years of accounting experience
  • Knowledge of the property management industry would be helpful
  • Previous experience on an ERP system would be preferred
  • High attention to detail
  • Ability to learn quick and stay on task independently
