Property Accountant - Bellevue 

Accounting Principals is partnering with a national investment, development, and property management company. They are looking for an individual with sharp thinking and the ability execute consistently at a high level. They are looking to add a Property Accountant to their growing team. The basic requirements for this candidate is they must have knowledge of journal entries, bank reconciliations, and strong time management skills.

The Bellevue accounting team is a tight group so the ideal candidate must be comfortable in a team.

 

Responsibilities for Property Accountant

  • Compiles and analyzes financial information in preparation for entry into various financial statements and accounting reports
  • makes appropriate journal entries for recording in the general ledger by checking calculations, reviewing basis for figures
  • balancing and reconciling figures
  • Reviews budget, revenue, expense, payroll entries, invoices, and other accounting documents to resolves discrepancies as necessary.
  • Performs bank reconciliations and cash management duties.
  • Communicates with on-site and other property managers to assist in completing pre-close and close activities.
  • Acts as a liaison to internal and external auditors by explaining journal entries and financial transactions
  • Completes various financial, accounting, administrative duties

    Job Requirements:

  • Demonstrated to effectively to prepare and explain financial data to clients, senior managers
  • Proficiency spreadsheet, property management, and database management programs
  • Employment history that demonstrates the application and usage of an accounting and financial background
  • A combination of education, training, and experience that demonstrates a consistent usage and application of the generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)
  • College degree in accounting, business, finance, or related field, and/or equivalent experience is highly preferred
  • Job Type: Full-time

    Pay: 27.00/hr to 30.00/hr
