Property Accountant

We are working with a prestigious commercial firm in the real estate industry. They are located in North Olmsted, Ohio and actively seeking an experienced Property Accountant to join their team. This person will manage a portfolio along with company’s assets, analyze financial information, reconcile financial statements, assist in budget development and prepare general reports for management. This is a contract to hire role and looking to move immediately on the right individual.

Responsibilities:

  • Full-cycle AP (scanning & uploading invoices, cutting checks, distributing payments, managing vendors and purchase orders)
  • Journal Entries
  • Month-end closing
  • Financial reporting
  • Account reconciliations
  • Assisting with other accounting and administrative tasks as needed
  • Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting is required
  • 5+ years of accounting experience with Property Management or Real Estate Development experience
  • Proficient in Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, manipulating data, etc.)
  • Yardi software knowledge is a HUGE plus
  • Compensation: $23 to $29 an hour

    Hours: 8:00am – 5:00pm (flex time)
