Accounting Principals is currently seeking a Project Administrator with 2 or more years of experience for a temp to hire job at a well-established construction firm in Ontario, CA.  In this role you will be supporting multiple projects and working closely with various project managers.    This is a great opportunity for the individual who likes to multi-task, motivated by deadlines, and loves being the “go-to” person.  In this role you will be supporting multiple projects and working closely with various departments.  


  • Processing subcontractor invoices and posting to general ledger
  • Creating purchase and work orders
  • Issuing all billing per contract on each project
  • Tracking all cost related to each project
  • Preparing change orders
  • Verifying all required documents are in compliance per contract
  • Assisting with special projects
  • Qualifications:

  • Experience working in construction industry
  • Solid understanding of job cost accounting
  • Prior experience with change orders, lien releases, preliminary notices and schedule of values. 
  • Skills:

  • Handling multiple projects simultaneously
  • Effective time management
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organization skills
  • Proficient with MS Office suite
  • Work Hours:  8:00 AM  - 5:00 PM, 40 hours per week

    Compensation:  $24 – $26 per hour
