Accounting Principals is searching for an accounting professional who enjoys reconciliations and cleaning up accounts. A team in the south King County area is looking for a temporary solution to help organize their accounts receivable and bank statements. You will be working mostly in Microsoft Excel and the ERP system, so you need to be able to execute advanced functions in Excel. Since this project will be your main focus, you need to be comfortable working independently and problem solving on your own when needed. This position is onsite in Renton, WA with free parking and a casual dress code. You should have at least two years of accounting experience and be very experienced with reconciliations, researching transactions, and working with large data sets.
Processing payments to the correct accounts
Researching missing payments and past due accounts
Reviewing transactions and making corrections when needed
Reconciling bank statements and updating the aging report
Cleaning up past due balances and organizing accounting records
At least two years of previous accounting experience
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance is preferred
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
Ability to problem solve and think critically
Able to meet deadlines and work efficiently without supervision
