Procurement/Purchasing Assistant

 

One of our long-term partner companies is looking to add a Purchasing Assistant to their team in the Kirkland area! If you have recent experience in Accounts Payable, Purchasing or Procurement, please apply. You can expect to learn a variety of tasks that include Accounts Payable, general Office Administration and more.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain strong business relationships with vendors and suppliers of the company
  • Manage purchasing agreements with vendors and maintain excellent communication with those vendors
  • Stay up to date with supply inventory and determining purchasing needs based on quarterly and annual numbers
  • Maintain knowledge of industry trends and establish long-term relationships with vendors when it is beneficial to the company
  • Compare product with issued purchase orders and contact vendors when there are discrepancies
  •  

    Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in Purchasing, Procurement, Buying or Accounts Payable
  • Accounting, Finance or Business Degree (complete or in progress)
  • High attention to detail and ability to multitask.
  • Eager and hardworking mentality
  • Experience with ERP systems and Excel is a huge plus.
  • Able to work 40 hours a week in the office Monday-Friday from 8am-5pm.
  •  

    Location: Kirkland, WA.

    Work hours: M-F, 40 hours/week full time.
