One of our long-term partner companies is looking to add a Purchasing Assistant to their team in the Kirkland area! If you have recent experience in Accounts Payable, Purchasing or Procurement, please apply. You can expect to learn a variety of tasks that include Accounts Payable, general Office Administration and more.
Maintain strong business relationships with vendors and suppliers of the company
Manage purchasing agreements with vendors and maintain excellent communication with those vendors
Stay up to date with supply inventory and determining purchasing needs based on quarterly and annual numbers
Maintain knowledge of industry trends and establish long-term relationships with vendors when it is beneficial to the company
Compare product with issued purchase orders and contact vendors when there are discrepancies
Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in Purchasing, Procurement, Buying or Accounts Payable
Accounting, Finance or Business Degree (complete or in progress)
High attention to detail and ability to multitask.
Eager and hardworking mentality
Experience with ERP systems and Excel is a huge plus.
Able to work 40 hours a week in the office Monday-Friday from 8am-5pm.
Location: Kirkland, WA.
Work hours: M-F, 40 hours/week full time.
