Portfolio Accountant    A reputable firm in the finance industry is looking for a Portfolio Accountant to add to their team.  Since the job responsibilities are so unique to their firm and industry, this position is a temporary opportunity where the original temporary timeline could get extended. The team is looking for someone who has at least a year of accounting experience and who is very detail oriented. Since you will be reconciling client statements and monitoring account activity, high attention to detail is crucial. In addition, you will be working with a few different software programs and need to be a strong Microsoft Excel user (pivot tables). The office is in Seattle, WA but they will train you and allow you to work remotely. This will be an attractive position to add to your resume.    Main tasks:

  • Reconciling client accounts
  • Updating client information and ensuring contract terms are accurate
  • Setting up billing and creating invoices 
  • Processing and updating compliance reports
  • Additional projects as needed
  • Desired skill set:
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, accounting, or related field
  • At least a year of experience in finance or accounting
  • Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables)
  • Strong attention to detail and independent thinker
