Accounting Principals is working with one of our clients looking to fill a Portfolio Accountant job for the corporate office located in Walnut Creek, CA. You should have at least 3 years of accounting experience in a real estate or property management environment. You will be responsible for working in the general ledger, reconciliations, journal entries, financial statement preparation, and the preparation of financial reports.

 

Qualifications:

- Associates or Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance is required

- Software experience with Great Plains preferred

- Solid knowledge accounting principles (GAAP)

- Able to work independently, take initiative, and be a team player

- Comfortable working in-office

- Reliable, dedicated, and driven to get the job done

- Attention to detail, a problem-solver, and organized

- Strong communications (written & verbal)

- Comfortable with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word & Outlook)

 

Experience: 3 to 5 years of General Ledger accounting experience (Portfolio Accountant, Property Accountant, Real Estate Accountant)

Compensation: $38.00 – $43.00

Employment Type: Direct Hire
