If you are an experienced payroll professional who is looking to grow, we have an exciting opportunity for you! Our client in SW Portland is looking to hire a Payroll Supervisor that will grow into a management position over time. This team is friendly and down to earth, and they look for people with a sense of humor. This team works in a beautiful space and enjoys team activities. In this payroll position you would manage the entire payroll process, including union and non-union processing. You would also directly supervise one team member. This is a direct hire position, Paying is $55k, with benefits. 

To be the best fit for this role, you will need the following developed skills:

  • Strong understanding of full-cycle payroll processing (3-5 years minimum)
  • Ability to track down payroll information needed to process (Strong communication skills)
  • Experience with various external payroll systems, and the ability to learn new software if needed.
  • Some accounting background or understanding of how payroll impacts financials
