Payroll Specialist

Accounting Principals is looking to fill a Payroll Specialist position in Melville. Our candidate should have around 1-2 years of payroll experience. This role is a contract to potential hire opportunity. If this sounds like something for you, act now!

 

Responsibilities:

  • Process and maintain weekly payroll
  • Data Entry of all new hire paperwork and related forms
  • Process weekly paychecks for hourly employees and manage payroll errors
  • Ensure that any changes to employee data are incorporated in payroll as soon as possible
  • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work independently
  • Responsible for benefit billing reconciliations
  • Experience:

  • 1-2 years experience
  • Strong Communication and written skills
  • Proficient with Excel
  • Experience with ADP is a plus
  • Associates or Bachelor's degree is preferred
