Payroll Specialist

Accounting Principals is hiring a Payroll Specialist in the Parma, Ohio area. To qualify for this position, you will need to have prior professional payroll experience.   • Process bi-weekly payroll for 500+ employees
  • Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll issues
  • Conduct semi-annual audits of all payroll records
  • Maintain, review, and document all payroll records
  • Set up new hires
  • Stay current with the taxation of salaries, benefits and other factors
  • Process garnishment, child support, and other deductions
  • Reconcile general ledger
  • Qualifications:

  • Experience with high volume payroll processing up to 500+ employees
  • Associates Degree in Accounting preferred but not required
  • Minimum 3 years of payroll experience
  • Excellent organization skill
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Experience with ADP is a plus
  • Employment Type: Contract to hire

    Pay:  $18 - $22 per hour based on experience

    Work Hours: 8am - 5pm, flex time
