Payroll Specialist

Do you have experience with Payroll? Accounting Principals currently has an opening for a Payroll Specialist in Parma, Ohio. This is a full-time, contract to hire position for a company with more than 150 locations across four continents! The opportunity for growth is exponential. This person must have prior professional experience with prevailing wages and have had processed for over 300+ employees. This opportunity is looking to move quick for the right person.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Process payroll for 300+ employees (hourly, salaried, overtime, and part-time)
  • Answering employee inquiries regarding their payroll (401k and W2 inquiries)
  • Preparation and review of expense reports and bonuses
  • Preparing payroll reports for upper management and preparing payroll deposit
  • Reviewing time sheets
  • Calculating prevailing wage
  • Assist with all payroll related audits 
  • Qualifications:

  • Must have 2+ years of processing payroll
  • Must have 1+ year of prevailing wage experience
  • Certified payroll experience is a must
  • Extremely detail oriented
  • Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Employment Type: Full-time, Contract to hire

    Work Hours: 40 hours per week 

    Compensation: $19 to $24 an hour, depending on experience
