Payroll Specialist

If so, Accounting Principals is hiring and they’re on the search for a Payroll Specialist to become an addition to our client’s team. Responsibilities:

  • Process timecards in a timely manner
  • Manage and document payroll files and reports
  • Resolve discrepancies in timesheets, payroll files, payroll reports, and timecards
  • Maintain employee schedules that involve vacation, sick, and over time
  • Prepare payroll taxes and deductions reports
  • Ensure all documentation complies with company policies, labor laws, and GAAP

Experience:

  • 2-3 years in experience in accounting, finance, or payroll
  • Bachelor’s in accounting, Business, or Finance
  • ADP, Oracle, and Workday experience
  • Strong Microsoft Office Suite experience
  • Prior experience in a start-up is a plus

Skills:

  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal skills
  • Effective time-management and organizational
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Positive “can-do’ attitude

Compensation: 

  • $25 to $30 per hour
