Accounting Principals is hiring a Payroll Specialist in the Triad area. To be qualified for this position, you will need to have high volume, full-cycle payroll processing. If you are looking for a new opportunity, apply online today!

Responsibilities:

  • Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll issues or concerns
  • Process bi-weekly payroll
  • Conduct semi-annual audits of all payroll records
  • Maintain and document all payroll records
  • Collect banking information for direct deposit setup and initiate deposits on payday
  • Familiarize yourself and keep current with the taxation of salaries, benefits and other factors
  • Process and monitor garnishment orders and other issues that impact payroll specifications
  • Detect and process issues
  • Prepare and submit paper payroll checks for employees who do not have direct deposit
  • Reconcile general ledger with regard to payroll transactions

Skills:

  • Experience with high volume payroll processing up to 300 employees
  • Associates Degree in Accounting preferred
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in payroll
  • Excellent organization and mathematical skills

Hours: 8:00AM-5:00PM
