Accounting Principals is assisting a growing client in Fishers, IN to identify a qualified Contract Payroll Specialist to add to their team. In this position you will provide quality customer service to employees, HR and assigned location contacts.
Accurately process payroll for assigned locations.
Maintain accurate records of pay cycle reviews/audits.
Prepare payroll reconciliations.
Ensure compliance with relevant laws and internal policies.
Review processing of payroll changes (New Hires Terminations, Employee Transfers and Pay increases.)
Calculate and process retroactive pay adjustments.
Ensure all payroll processes for assigned locations are documented and up to date with any enhancements and improvements.
Assist employees and managers with timekeeping including hours worked, time off balances and approval of timecards.
Assist HR Business partners with requests that involve payroll data.
Run reports as requested by finance directors, managers, or HR.
Respond timely and professionally to employee inquiries.
1-2 years of payroll experience
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Experience with Ultipro and Kronos preferred
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Contract, 6+ months
