Accounting Principals is immediately seeking a Payroll Specialist for a 8-10 month contract position located in  opportunity in Redlands, CA   Responsibilities include but not limited to processing  biweekly payroll for approximately 200 employees, verify accuracy of hours, employment verifications, setting up and maintain personal files, and assisting employees with payroll related questions.  

Duties:

  • Process biweekly payroll for 200+ employees
  • Review and verify accuracy of hours, including missed punches and time adjustments
  • Process voluntary and involuntary deductions (levies, garnishments, 401k, etc)
  • Review balances and prepare reports for Paid Time Off and Sick Pay
  • Responsible for payroll related reporting for management
  • Ensure compliance with local, state and federal regulations
  • Assist employees with payroll inquiries
  • Job Qualifications:

  • At least 3 years of payroll experience
  • Strong knowledge of federal/state wage and hour laws, including garnishments
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills required
  • Employment Type:   Temporary 8-10 months

    Work Hours:  8:00 am – 5:00 pm, Monday thru Friday

    Compensation:  $26.44 - $28.84 per hour
