Are you looking for that long term home? Do you want to be a part of a payroll team? If you are then we may have the perfect job for you. Accounting Principals is working with one of our clients looking to fill a Payroll Specialist job for the corporate office located in San Francisco, CA.  This position is hybrid in nature and will be in-office 3 days every other week. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of Payroll experience. The role will be responsible for ensuring accurate  processing and recording of the company’s payroll which include hourly and non-exempt employee’s, processing manual checks, bonus checks, terminations, pay adjustments, preparing various reports, providing excellent customer service, and assist with other duties and projects as assigned.


Qualifications for the job include:

- Strong Payroll knowledge of rules and regulations including overtime rules and compliance

- Software experience with ADP would be a preferred but not required

- Team player, able to work independently, patient, and enthusiastic

- Reliable, a can-do positive attitude, and gets the job done

- Attention to detailed, a problem-solver,  and organized

- Strong customer service and communications able to work with all level of management

- Comfortable with Microsoft Office (Excel – Intermediate, Word & Outlook)


Experience: 3 years of Payroll experience (Payroll Clerk, Payroll Coordinator, Payroll Administrator, Payroll Specialist)

Compensation: $27.00 – $32.00

Employment Type: Temp to Perm (2 to 3 months temporary)
