Do you want to be a part of a payroll team? Are you looking for stability? We are currently looking to fill a Payroll Specialist job opportunity for this exciting East Bay company located in Alameda, California. You should have 5 or more years of experience as a Payroll Specialist. You will participate in all aspects of the bi-weekly payroll process. The hourly pay for this position is between $30.00 to $34.00 depending on your level of experience.


Qualifications for the job include:

- 5 years of experience as a Payroll professional handling a medium to large organization

- Software experience with Ultipro required

- A team player with solid communications both verbal and written

- Attention to detail, able to pick up tasks quickly, and organized

- Experience with multi-state garnishments and wage levy processing

- Union Payroll experience preferred

- Strong with Microsoft Excel (vlookup, pivot tables & filters)
