We have partnered with a Dallas TX client to find a Payroll Specialist for a contract to hire position paying in the mid to high $20hr range.

The Job:

Description:

 

BASIC FUNCTION:
Assist with the preparation and distribution of the company’s payroll, ensures all time, benefits, and deductions are logged appropriately and that all payroll accounts remain balanced.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: (functions considered essential as defined by ADA)
? Assists with ensuring all benefits and insurance premiums are deducted from paychecks
? Assists with ensuring all payroll accounts are balanced
? Assists with preparing and submitting payroll documents and records
? Adheres to all state and federal regulations for payroll processing
? Assists with the verification and processing W-4s for tax purposes, when necessary
? Assists with arranging and maintaining direct deposits set up, when necessary
? Assists with preparing and distributing paper checks, when necessary
? Assists finance department in preparing for audits and account reconciliations
? Assists with maintaining detailed and organized payroll records
? Helps resolve any discrepancies surrounding payroll issues
? Reports to the Payroll Manager with updates and problems
