Responsibilities of this Payroll Specialist include:

  • Processes, posts and edits new hires, vacation, paid sick leave
  • Provide assistance with problem troubleshooting and resolves employee pay discrepancies
  • Prepare adjustment and final checks as needed
  • Maintain contact with any vendor to investigate discrepancies, resolve issues
  • Create, edit, and run various reports from ADP Reporting
  • Process and posts direct deposits
  • Post W-4s and batches for any service charges
  • Review and audit the reports
  • Cut manual checks when necessary
  •  

    Minimum requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 year's previous payroll experience
  • Knowledge of city, state, and federal regulations regarding employee compensation
  • ADP (preferably WFN but not required) and Microsoft Excel
  • Professional, self-starter, and able to manage multiple deadlines
  • Critical thinker, consultation, with good communication skills
  • Maintain a professional working relationship and encourages open lines of communication between management, employees, and other related departments
