Payroll Specialist Job in Portland, OR
 
Are you an experienced Payroll professional looking for a relaxed work environment? We are looking for you! We have an exciting opportunity for you to join a growing team in NE Portland. You work be working side by side with a tenured payroll professional to grow your payroll knowledge. This team is proud of their friendly and laid-back culture and want to find the right person to join it. To be successful in this role, you will need at least 2-3 years of payroll experience along with ADP Workforce Now experience.  This position is paying 48-55k annually DOE.
 
As a Payroll Specialist your responsibilities will include:

  • Process multi-state payroll for 250+ employees using ADP Workforce Now
  • Enter new employees into payroll software
  • Input employee changes into ADP including garnishments, tax changes, and adjustments to benefit premiums
  • Assist with periodic payroll audits
 
As a qualified candidate, you should have:
  • Two(2) to Three(3) years of experience processing payroll for 100+ FTEs
  • Ability to take on new tasks with a positive attitude
  • Preferred - Experience with ADP Workforce Now
  • High attention to detail, commitment to accuracy
  • Experience with multi-state payroll processing preferred
