We are offering a part time, 32 hour per week Payroll Specialist Job in NE Portland, OR! This position comes with benefits and has flexible working hours.  This role is great for a candidate with at least 1 year of payroll experience and a desire to learn accounting functions like bank deposits, assist with and back up Accounts Payable and support the Accounting Manager with documentation and administrative duties.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Process bi-weekly payroll with Paylocity software
  • Maintain up to date employee information
  • Process garnishments
  • Help with employee paycheck questions
  • Take on accounting functions like bank deposits, AP, assisting accounting team

Your Qualifications:

  • At least one year of payroll experience
  • Accounting knowledge
