Accounting Principals is searching for a progressive Payroll Manager for a direct hire, partial remote opportunity located near Dunwoody!!!
The ideal candidate will have 4+ years of recent, stable payroll management experience! Proven success in team development and excellent technical skills including Advanced Excel is required. Must have experience managing up to 3 Payroll Specialists in addition to process improvement, implementation and excellent verbal/written communication!!!
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Work with payroll vendors to resolve tax matters
Manage the processing of status changes, tax updates, garnishments, liens, direct deposit elections and other mandatory and voluntary deductions
Conduct periodic internal audits of payroll records to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
Answer routine inquiries concerning payroll issues in accordance with company policies and procedures
Adhere to internal control processes when initiating, recording, summarizing and reporting payroll transactions
Experienced manager of process and people
Understanding of multi-state payroll practices
Excellent attention to detail and ability to multitask
Knowledge of HR and Benefits experience is a huge plus in addition to accounting.
Excellent Excel skills
