Responsibilities of this Payroll Manager career in San Diego includes:

  • Manage, process, and verify completeness of semi-monthly payroll for 400+ employees
  • Process all timesheets and expense reports to ensure accuracy of information, adequate supporting details, compliance with all Federal Acquisition Regulations and state/local laws
  • Work closely with HR to ensure status, tax withholdings, benefit deductions, 401k deferrals are all updated accurately and timely in the payroll system
  • Prepare and post all payroll journal entries and accruals

    Minimum Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of solid payroll experience
  • ADP Workforce Now preferred
  • Strong Excel skills for running reports
  • Familiar with state and multi-state laws and taxes
  • Confidential, organized, accurate, attentive to detail, with good communication skills
