Accounting Principals is searching for an Payroll Customer Service Representative for a contract-to-hire opportunity in Richmond, VA. Candidates who have experience with tax and payroll would fit perfectly. 


  • Assisting with the process for multi-state payroll tax filings and reconciliations
  • Preparing Federal and State amended tax returns
  • Assisting with the Year End Process which may include W2/1099 preparation
  • Monitoring client support software
  • Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred
  • General knowledge of payroll industry
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build strong relationships
  • A positive and upbeat attitude is essential
  • Must provide excellent customer service
  • Pay:

    $18-$20/hour depending on experience

    $45,000 (year)
