Accounting Principals is assisting our Morris County, New Jersey client in their search for a Payroll Coordinator. This is a temp to hire position in a company that is reputable, is in extreme growth mode, and an industry leader. Previous experience processing payroll for manufacturing sites as well as non union processing experience are both required for this position. Proficiency professing payroll in ADP as well as in depth knowledge of ADP Time and Attendance is a must.
Job Description:
Processing time and attendance records
Checking payroll information for accuracy and ensuring paperwork is correct
Coordinating with HR about changes in payroll (terminations, wage changes, new hires, etc.)
Processing financial compensation changes or deductions (bonuses, severance pay, taxes FMLA and STD)
Working with benefit expenses such as insurance deductions or paid leave
Answering employee inquiries and researching & resolving discrepancies
Qualifications:
BS Degree strongly preferred, Associates along with relevant experience will be considered
Previous experience processing payroll for manufacturing sites
Experience with union payroll is required
Experience processing Payroll in ADP as well as experience with ADP Time and Attendance
Workday experience strongly preferred
Exceptional follow up skills
Exceptional communication skills - both written and verbal
Proficiency in MS Excel
