Payroll Compliance Analyst (Temporary)

 

Our client is looking for a temporary “Payroll Compliance Analyst” with experience in ADP,  including experience with Workforce Now, payroll processing, and tax jurisdiction set-up for new hires. The ideal candidate will have relevant experience and be interested in a temporary position that will last 2-5 months.

 

Primary Job Duties:

  • Set up and maintain company-wide employee records in ADP, including importing and auditing data
  • Import new hire information to ADP and set up employees’ tax jurisdictions
  • Terminate employees in ADP who have ended their assignments
  • Update state unemployment rates in ADP as needed
  • Manage the wage garnishment process, including setting up active garnishments and responding to garnishment requests
  • Resolve Statistical Summary for area of “Taxes your responsibility” working to ADP to resolve to their responsibility
  • Apply for state and local tax withholding and unemployment registrations as needed
  • Assist payroll tax senior manager in logging, reviewing and responding to state/local tax notices
  • Assist payroll tax senior manager with any compliance items needed
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned
  •  

    Qualifications:

  • HS Diploma or equivalent; coursework in Accounting or Tax Preferred
  • 2 or more years of relevant experience
  • Multi state payroll processing experience required
  • Proficient use of Microsoft Office, including Word, Outlook and Excel required
  • Strong communication skills
  • Knowledge Microsoft Dynamics GP is desired
  • Attention to detail
  • Strong organization and time management skills
