We are seeking applicants for a Payroll Clerk position within a fantastic Greensboro-based company. This position will work directly with the HR Manager to manage payroll records for employees, assist with insurance enrollment, process payroll through a 3rd party system, and generating payroll reports to resolve discrepancies.
Assist with Open Enrollment and responsible for reporting any changes of employee elections for benefits to the online enrollment system at open enrollment and throughout the year.
Responsible for the processing of the agency’s biweekly payroll including, retirement funds reporting and transmittal,
Generate various reports for the finance team for the processing of journal entries.
Responsible for the maintenance of employee records on the Payroll system
Responsible for Insurance Billing reconciliation for all benefits.
Assiting with other payroll and HR tasks as needed
Skilled in Excel (heavy daily use)
Paychex experience highly preferred
Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions.
Ability to verify documents and forms for accuracy and completeness.
Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing.
