We are seeking applicants for a Payroll Clerk position within a fantastic Greensboro-based company. This position will work directly with the HR Manager to manage payroll records for employees, assist with insurance enrollment, process payroll through a 3rd party system, and generating payroll reports to resolve discrepancies.


  • Assist with Open Enrollment and responsible for reporting any changes of employee elections for benefits to the online enrollment system at open enrollment and throughout the year.
  • Responsible for the processing of the agency’s biweekly payroll including, retirement funds reporting and transmittal,
  • Generate various reports for the finance team for the processing of journal entries.
  • Responsible for the maintenance of employee records on the Payroll system
  • Responsible for Insurance Billing reconciliation for all benefits.
  • Assiting with other payroll and HR tasks as needed
  • Qualifications:

  • Skilled in Excel (heavy daily use)
  • Paychex experience highly preferred
  • Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions.
  • Ability to verify documents and forms for accuracy and completeness.
  • Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing.
