Accounting Principals is recruiting for a Payroll Clerk for our client, a construction company located in Gilbert, AZ. This is an opportunity to join a team that offers upward mobility, stable work and excellent earning potential.

The right candidate should have at least one year of payroll experience, as well as excellent data entry skills and the ability to work in a fast paced environment. A typical day in this role will include the audit of employee hours, assisting with various reports and maintenance of employee files.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Exporting and importing employee hours into Workday system
  • Creating various payroll reports
  • Reconciling monthly deduction reports
  • Maintaining employee files, including processing deductions or garnishments
  • Assisting with ad hoc reports and projects as needed
  • Qualifications and Skills Required:

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required
  • 1+ years of payroll processing experience
  • Intermediate computer skills, including Microsoft Excel
  • Accurate and efficient data entry skills
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Ability to problem solve
  • Must be a self starter
  • Job Details:

  • Permanent / Direct Hire
  • Full Time, Regular Monday-Friday Business Hours
  • Pay: Up to $21 per hour, depending on experience
  • Location: Gilbert, AZ (MUST BE LOCAL)
