Payroll Clerk

Accounting Principals is hiring a Payroll professional for a growing local company in the Puyallup, WA area. Duties consist of timekeeping, processing bi-weekly payroll and related H.R. duties as needed. Job Responsibilities

  • Process Payroll for approximately 200+ employees.
  • Compile Payroll reports and submit them to upper management.
  • Answer questions surrounding pay stubs, vacation, sick time, 401k, etc.
  • Perform select H.R. duties and assist with onboarding, I9 verifications, etc.
  • Additional duties as the department may require.

Desired Qualifications

  • Accounting degree, relevant Payroll experience, or a combination of the two.
  • High level of accuracy, confidentiality, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to multitask and handle changing duties and priorities.
  • High level of organization and excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Familiarity with multiple Payroll processing systems is a huge plus!

Employment Type

  • Full Time, contract to hire.


  • $21.00 - $25.00 per hour DOE.


  • Flexible start time from 6:30am to 8:00am, 40 hours per week.
